A calm abode that celebrates air, light and space as luxuries

This penthouse is part of a prestigious development in Shenzhen and designed to offer respite from the hustle and bustle of the growing megacity. When living in a dense urban environment, air, light and space become luxuries that are appreciated. With this in mind, the penthouse was designed to look clean and contemporary and to exude an effortless and luxurious vibe.

The colour palette, comprised of neutrals and pastel hues, and organic curvatures inspired by elements of nature, was finely calibrated to give a sense of uplift and calm. Lounge areas are designed in outdoor areas to create serene pockets for activities like tea appreciation, or simply enjoying nature.

Outdoor living is further celebrated with tropical plants and botanicals introduced into the interior spaces and wall graphics.

In the walk-in wardrobe for her, Pierre Frey wallpaper featuring patterns of soft clouds, reminiscent of sunset hues, alluding to how close the penthouse unit is to the actual clouds outside. The dreamy ambience combined with the overall feminine and pastel palette of the room, it makes for a beautiful setting for wardrobe parties with an intimate gathering or taking styled photographs.
